We have begun negotiations with the striking workers. Taking part in the negotiations are the Director of Human Resources, representatives of the Workers’ Union and representatives of the cleaning staff. It is expected that negotiations will last all day. The starting point of the negotiations it he immediate stop of the strike. However, it appears that the workers are not willing to return to work until the company accepts the 50% salary increase.

We have learnt that the salaries in our company are slightly above the average for the same job in other companies in the city. Because of this, we believe this situation is being blown out of proportion and that workers have no reason to demand such a salary increase.
